SUMMER JOB OPPORTUNITY

SAILING INSTRUCTOR

Interested candidates are required to have:

  • Canadian Yachting Association Sailing Instructor course,
  • Certified as either: Green/Blue or LTS White Sail Coach or LTS Bronze Sail Coach
  • NCCP Coaching Level 1 or LTS Fundamental course
  • Swimming (Boat Rescue course or Bonze Medallion)
  • Emergency First Aid (St. John's Ambulance First Aid or Red Cross Society First Aid Emergency)
  • PCOC (Pleasure Craft Operators Card)
  • The candidate must be self motivated, outgoing and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • All candidates must provide confirmation that they are accepted to attend a post secondary institution full time in September 2010.

Schedule: This 9 1/2 week position runs from June 23/10 to August 27/10. (8am – 4:00pm Monday to Friday)

Location: Brooklyn Marina, Queens County  

Salary: $15.00/hr + mandatory 4% vacation pay, 8 hrs per day, 48 days.

Accommodation in Queens County: Negotiable        

Transportation in Queens County: Negotiable
